Before working with First Security, Scott worked in Mankato, Minnesota for a community bank as the Chief Credit Officer. Additionally, Scott has worked as Chief Risk Officer, Banking Consultant, and Credit Analyst for organizations in Chicago, Illinois, and on both the East and West Coasts.

Scott is dedicated to his family and his community. He and his wife of 39 years have four daughters living throughout the country. They enjoy traveling to visit their children and volunteering with organizations such as the Charles City Lions Club, Partners Worldwide, and the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Floyd County Medical Center.

Chris Corcoran brings over 25 years of expertise in lending and executive leadership to our team. He holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture business and finance from Iowa State University. His banking education includes completing the Iowa Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School, the Iowa School of Banking, and numerous advanced finance courses through Performance Trust University.

As a firm believer in community involvement, Chris is active in several organizations, including Pheasants Forever, Redeemer Lutheran Church, and he is a coach for youth sports.

Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jessica, and their three children. The family makes annual trips to the Mississippi River to enjoy outdoor activities.

Growing up on a farm near Rockford, IA gave him in-depth knowledge of farming. Steve maintains his own farm with his son in addition to working in the agricultural industry.

Zach began his career at First Security in 2023 as a supervisor for the Portfolio Managers in the ag/commercial lending department. He joined the bank with a degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University as well as experience in both agronomy and ag lending. He also completed the Iowa Bankers Association’s Agricultural Credit School.

A Charles City native, Zach enjoys the opportunity to give back to North Central Iowa through his work as a lender and as a volunteer with the Lion's Club. Outside of work, he can often be found golfing or spending time with his wife Lindsay and their dog Nellie.

Andria Hillegas started at the bank in 2016 as an Ag/Commercial Loan Processor and Servicing Clerk and full-time college student. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Upper Iowa University and the Iowa Bankers Association’s (IBA) Commercial Lending School. Andria has received several promotions since her start at the bank including Loan Operations Specialist, Credit Analyst, and Loan Administrative Specialist. In 2023, she was promoted to Ag/Commercial Lender.

Drew Mitchell joined First Security in 2022 as a Credit Analyst. In 2023, Drew was promoted to Ag Lender. He received a degree in Ag Business from Iowa State University and has completed the Iowa Bankers Association's (IBA) Intro to Commercial Lending School and Ag Credit School.

Drew grew up on a farm near Charles City, IA, and throughout his childhood, he showed cattle through FFA and 4-H. He is dedicated to his community as a member of the Floyd County Fair Board, as a coach for the Charles City High School football team, as a member of Main St. Charles City Business Improvement Committee, and as a member of the Charles City Lion’s Club.

Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, Madison, his family and friends, watching sports, and attending cattle shows.

Kati Woodley brings six years of experience in the agriculture finance industry to First Security Bank & Trust. She has served in a variety of roles, including Office Manager, Credit Analyst, and Loan Officer, with a primary focus on agricultural operating financing. Raised in Ackley, Kati offers a strong local connection and familiarity with the community that clients value.

In addition to her financial expertise, Kati has several years of experience in nursing and office administration, which further enhances her customer service skills and commitment to building strong client relationships.

Outside of work, she is active in the community as a member of the Ackley American Legion Auxiliary and Relay for Life. She enjoys spending time with her son, supporting his activities ranging from sports to 4-H, and making memories with family and friends.

Get to Know Jacqlyn

Jacqlyn, who is originally from Swaledale and currently resides in Sheffield, is primarily based out of the bank’s Hampton and Rockwell branches. She is gaining hands-on experience by working alongside several lenders while preparing for a future role as an ag/commercial lender herself.

Before joining the bank, Jacqlyn was actively involved in her family’s farm and dedicated six years to playing Division I volleyball—four years at Kent State University and two years at the University of Iowa. During that time, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from Kent State, followed by two master’s degrees from the University of Iowa: a Master of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Business Analytics.

With her local ties and farming background, Jacqlyn knows what matters most to her community. Combine that with her education, work ethic, and on-the-job training, and she’s ready to be the kind of lender farmers can count on—someone who truly understands their goals and challenges.
Outside of work, Jacqlyn continues to play sports and help on the farm. She especially enjoys spending time with friends and family, which includes her husband and a young son.

Abby Bice joined First Security in 2017 as an Ag/Commercial Loan Administrative Specialist. Her educational and professional background is mainly in administration; she holds an Associate of Arts degree from North Iowa Area Community College and worked in a law office before joining the bank. In 2021, Abby was promoted to Portfolio Manager, and in 2023, she completed the Iowa Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School. In 2025, she was promoted to Ag/Commercial Loan Specialist Supervisor.

Abby enjoys a busy life with her family when not working. She is married with two sons. Abby loves watching her sons play sports.

Becky Kirchgatter joined First Security Bank & Trust in 2020 as an Ag/Commercial Loan Administrative Specialist. In 2024, she was promoted to Loan Assistant Supervisor. Her professional background includes many roles that require administration skills; she has worked in management, as a Numerical Code Programmer, as a Clerk for the Cerro Gordo Recorder’s Office, and as the Deputy Auditor for Cerro Gordo County.

Becky volunteers for the Maple View Retirement Home Board of Directors. She also enjoys her multiple gardens and yard work. Her favorite season is summer because she can do things outdoors.

Jessica was born and raised in Dumont, and prior to graduating from Hampton-Dumont High School, she worked at First Security’s Hampton branch (at that time, it was Hampton State Bank). After high school, she continued her banking career in Mason City while attending North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC). After NIACC, she obtained a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Buena University before landing back in Dumont, where she became the branch manager for First Security’s office there as well as the office it had in Aredale. At that time, she also assisted with lending and retail business. Later, she went on to work for the Hampton-Dumont Community School District and most recently gained experience as a Human Resources Coordinator.

Abby joined First Security Bank in 2026 as an Ag/Commercial Loan Specialist. She supports the lending team by gathering, preparing, and processing loan documentation, while also assisting with a variety of administrative and customer service responsibilities.

Abby earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education and is on track to complete her master's degree in education at the end of June. Prior to joining First Security, she taught sixth-grade science and English in Osage.

Makayla is originally from Michigan and moved to Iowa to gain a new perspective and expand her experience in agriculture. She attended Fox Valley Technical College, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Agribusiness Science and Technology – Agronomy, along with technical diplomas in Agronomy and Agri-Business Agronomy. She also earned a certification in Agricultural Accounting.

Before joining First Security, Makayla worked in the agronomy industry, where she specialized in wheat testing.

The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help farmers financially and keep American agriculture thriving.
