Enfact Card Protection

To ensure the safety of your debit card, your ATM and debit card transactions are monitored for potentially fraudulent activity. This may include a sudden change in locale (such as when a U.S.-issued card is used unexpectedly overseas), a sudden string of costly purchases or any pattern associated with new fraud trends around the world.

ATM receipt balances explained

What is the difference between available balance and total balance?

Your available balance is your beginning of the day balance plus or minus any of today’s credits or debits.

For example: your total balance is $100. Today’s credits total $25 (you deposited $25 cash at your local branch), and today’s debits total $10 (you withdrew $10 at an ATM). Your available balance would be $115.

Your total balance (or ledger balance) is the balance you had at the end of the previous day.

For additional answers to any of your ATM receipt questions, please call 800-272-0159 to speak with a First Security banker.
