Online Banking Security Enhancements Update
First Security has enabled a security feature to help verify that online banking activity is legitimate.
You can expect to receive a verification code (called multi-factor authentication) to the email First Security has on file when:
- You are enrolling in online banking for the first time.
- You request a transfer of over $10,000, including loan payments or advances.
- Your contact information is updated via online or mobile banking.
If you receive a code that you did not expect, it is important that you call us immediately at 1-800-272-0159 to ensure that a criminal is not enrolling in online banking or completing transactions under your name.
On the other hand, if you are expecting a code and did not receive one, please call us at 1-800-272-0159 to make sure we have an accurate email on file for you.
