Ramona Alden Promoted to Portfolio Manager

First Security Bank is happy to share that Ramona Alden has been promoted from Lead Retail Advisor, a position she has held since December of 2023, to Portfolio Manager.

In her new role, she will work closely with the bank’s ag/commercial lenders in gathering loan information, building relationships with customers, understanding customers’ needs, and assisting with loan closings. She will be a second point of contact to customers’ primary lender.

“We are excited to welcome Ramona to the Portfolio Manager team. She has been a valuable asset to both the bank and the Nora Springs location,” said Portfolio Manager Supervisor Zach Mitchell. “We look forward to her continuing to serve the customers she has built strong relationships with through her previous role.”

Ramona currently lives in Nora Springs but is originally from Mason City. She is a graduate of North Iowa Area Community College where she received an Associate of Arts degree and Associate of Science degree. She is also certified as a Medical Assistant.

In her free time, she enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her chocolate lab named Ozzy.
