First Security’s Ashley Engels Accepts Role as Retail Lending Specialist

First Security’s Retail Lending department is pleased to share that Ashley Engels has joined their team as a Retail Lending Specialist.

Ashley joined First Security in 2015, and she has received several promotions since that time. All positions were within the lending areas of the bank, with her most recent role being the Ag/Commercial Lender for First Security’s branch in Rockford. Now, as a Retail Lending Specialist, she will underwrite and make decisions regarding consumer loan applications and will assist the bank’s Retail Lenders with mortgage closings.

Ashley holds a bachelor's degree in real estate and is a recent graduate of the Iowa Banker’s Association’s Introduction to Commercial Lending School. She joined First Security with banking experience, and prior to her banking career, she was a licensed realtor.
