First Security Announces Cassidie Parks' Promotion to Human Resource Specialist

First Security Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Cassidie Parks to Human Resource Specialist.

Cassidie joined First Security as Video Banking Supervisor in 2020 before accepting a role as HR/Marketing Assistant in 2022. At the end of 2024, Cassidie achieved the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential. To achieve this prestigious designation, Cassidie participated in a 14-week preparation course through North Iowa Area Community College, studied for many hours beyond class time, and spent several hours completing the exam. Successful applicants and credential holders are recognized as experts and leaders in the Human Resource (HR) field.

Chief Administrative Officer Heidi Worrall said, “This promotion recognizes the great work Cassidie has done for the bank, the additional responsibilities she’s taken on within HR, and the service she provides to all employees. She has consistently demonstrated the bank’s core values of service, collaboration, and life-long learning. Her hard work and commitment to all employees are a great asset to First Security.”

Outside of work, Cassidie is a busy mom to two daughters and enjoys spending time with them and her husband. Together, they enjoy riding ATVs and minibikes as well as crafting.
