First Security is pleased to announce that Brady Hanson has joined the bank as a summer intern in the Information Technology (IT) department.

Brady will be a senior at Charles City High School this upcoming school year and is a member of the class of 2027. During his internship, he looks forward to learning more about computers and gaining a better understanding of how technology systems operate behind the scenes.

Brady's interest in computers and technology began through his love of video games. In his free time, he enjoys creating his own games in Minecraft, which has further fueled his curiosity about computer engineering and programming.

Through coursework at NIACC, Brady has studied computer engineering and learned several coding languages. Those classes strengthened his passion for technology and confirmed his interest in pursuing the field. He is excited to continue exploring how computer engineering is shaping the future of the workforce through his internship at First Security.

"My dad has always told me to believe in myself and go after what I enjoy," said Brady. "I'm excited to learn as much as I can during this internship and see where computer engineering can take me."
