First Security Welcomes Katelyn Witte

Katelyn Witte recently joined First Security as an intern, where she will be job shadowing in several departments throughout the bank. She is especially interested in pursuing a career as an Agricultural/Commercial Lender.

As a 2025 graduate of West Fork High School, Katelyn received a scholarship from First Security in recognition of her outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. She is currently attending Iowa State University, where she has completed her first year studying agriculture, agribusiness, general business, and animal science.

Katelyn says she is especially excited to learn more about the important role community banks play in rural North Iowa and looks forward to building connections along the way.

Outside of school and work, Katelyn serves on the 2026 Iowa Pork Collegiate Team, representing the state of Iowa and promoting the pork industry. In her free time, she enjoys working with her show pigs, helping on the family farm, spending time with friends, and golfing.
