First Security Welcomes Tara Wust as Retail Advisor at Rockford Branch

First Security Bank & Trust is pleased to announce that Tara Wust has joined the bank as a Retail Advisor in Rockford. In this role, she will be responsible for a wide range of duties including assisting customers with transactions, responding to customer inquiries, account maintenance, and opening new accounts.

Tara, originally from Rudd and raised in Hampton, has deep roots in the communities that First Security serves. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration, along with two associate degrees—one in liberal arts & science and the other in applied science for work as a legal office specialist. Over the past five years, she has been an employee of the United States Postal Service where she delivered great customer service and got to know the people of the community.

"I chose First Security because I want to continue supporting and serving the customers I've built relationships with over the past five years at the post office," shared Tara. "I'm also excited about the career growth opportunities at First Security. With my educational background, which includes courses in accounting, account management, and administration management, I feel confident that I can apply my knowledge and continue to grow within the company."

When not at work, Tara spends her time with her husband Derik, and 3 children, Trey, Tyden, and Mila. They enjoy many outdoor activities like gardening, camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
