First Security Foundation Contributes Toward Construction of New Horse Barn at the Floyd County Fairgrounds
The First Security Foundation has contributed $25,000 to the Floyd County Fair Society’s horse barn project. This new facility is a modern, highly functional horse barn that will accommodate the growing needs of the Floyd County Fair exhibitors with improved spacing and quantity of stalls. It’s a project that will serve fair goers and the community for generations to come.
“The Floyd County Fair provides valuable opportunities for youth to develop responsibility, leadership, and a strong work ethic. This new horse barn will ensure exhibitors can display their hard work for many years,” stated Drew Mitchell, Ag/Commercial Lender at First Security and Floyd County Fair board member. “I encourage everyone to come out to the fair this year to see the new barn and, more importantly, to support and appreciate the outstanding projects and accomplishments of our local youth.”
First Security is proud to support local youth and fair exhibitors who dedicate countless hours to their projects and take pride in highlighting their project to the community each year at the fair.
