Jacqlyn Caspers joins First Security’s Ag/Commercial Lending Department
First Security Bank and Trust is pleased to share that Jacqlyn Caspers has joined the bank’s ag and commercial lending department.
Jacqlyn, who is originally from Swaledale and currently resides in Sheffield, is primarily based out of the bank’s Hampton branch. She is gaining hands-on experience by working alongside several lenders while preparing for a future role as an ag/commercial lender herself.
Before joining the bank, Jacqlyn was actively involved in her family’s farm and dedicated six years to playing Division I volleyball—four years at Kent State University and two years at the University of Iowa. During that time, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from Kent State, followed by two master’s degrees from the University of Iowa: a Master of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Business Analytics.
“Jacqlyn’s local roots, farming background, and strong work ethic are invaluable qualities for a lender,” said President/CEO Brad Miller. “They give her a level of understanding and connection with future customers that simply can’t be taught. When you combine that with her education and hands-on training, she’s on track to become a trusted partner for farmers in her community.”
Outside of work, Jacqlyn continues to play sports and help on the farm. She especially enjoys spending time with friends and family, which includes her husband and a young son.
