Kelsey McGregor passes Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Exams

Kelsey McGregor, Investment Services Assistant and Osaic Institutions Financial Professional, at First Security, has passed the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 6 exams.

The SIE exam tests foundational knowledge of the securities industry, while the Series 6 exam results in a professional license allowing Kelsey to sell certain investment products.

“These are not easy exams. They require months of study, and the exams take multiple hours to complete. This accomplishment not only reflects Kelsey’s willingness to grow, but also our increased capacity and strength as a team to serve clients,” said Bobbi Spainhower, Osaic Institutions Investment Advisor Representative at First Security.

Kelsey joined First Security’s ag/commercial lending team in 2021 and transitioned to the wealth management team in early 2026 as the department’s Investment Services Assistant. In this role, she helps clients navigate their financial needs by providing timely support, answering questions, recommending appropriate products, facilitating transactions and service requests, and working closely with advisors Bobbi Spainhower and Dave Jarvill to ensure a seamless client experience.

“Kelsey’s dedication reinforces our commitment to providing professional, client-focused service, and brings added value to our department and organization as a whole,” added Bobbi. “Her commitment, determination, and perseverance have paid off. We are proud of all her hard work.”
