Kelsey McGregor Promoted to Portfolio Manager

First Security is happy to announce that Kelsey McGregor has recently been promoted to Portfolio Manager.

Kelsey joined the bank in 2021 as the Loan Assistant Supervisor, where she worked with, trained, oversaw, and provided leadership for Ag/Commercial Loan Assistants at First Security. She has now been promoted to Portfolio Manager. In this role, she will work closely with the bank’s ag/commercial lenders in gathering loan information, building relationships with customers, understanding customers’ needs, and assisting with more loan closings. She will be a second point of contact to the customers’ primary lender.

Portfolio Manager Supervisor Zach Mitchell said, “Kelsey is a highly team-oriented individual who is always willing to take on additional responsibilities. Over the past few years, she has played a key role in the success of the Loan Assistant team. We are excited about her promotion and the valuable contributions she will bring to the other members of the Portfolio Manager department.”

Kelsey is originally from North Washington. She attended Upper Iowa University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended Des Moines University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program for a semester before deciding she wanted to change her career path. After her schooling and before joining First Security, Kelsey gained over four years of banking experience in the areas of debit cards, ATMs, personal banking, and loans.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, and learning new things on the farm. She currently lives outside of Nashua with her husband, two dogs, and they recently welcomed a baby girl into their family.
