Kimberly Orth Joins First Security Bank as Teller
First Security Bank is pleased to welcome Kimberly Orth as a Teller in Charles City. In her role, she assists customers with daily transactions, answers their questions, and connects them with the appropriate team members for additional support.
Originally from Houston, Minnesota, Kimberly now resides in the Riceville area with her husband, Trent. She attended both Winona State University and Luther College, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Economics. She also completed training at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in Johnston.
Kimberly brings a diverse professional background to her role. Most recently, she worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in the Nephrology department, where she supported patients seeking kidney transplants and prospective donors. Her experience also includes time at Trader Joe’s, where she developed a strong appreciation for customer service and quality products. In addition, Kimberly served her community in law enforcement as a police officer in Cresco, Iowa, and as Chief of Police in Riceville and Stacyville.
She is an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riceville, where she participates in the Mission Trip Group and Youth Group.
Kimberly and her husband have four children: Dylan, Aubrey, Camdyn, and Teghan. Dylan is a graduate of the University of Florida and is preparing for the LSAT. Aubrey graduated from the University of Washington and is currently serving in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica. Camdyn attends the University of Minnesota, and Teghan is a sophomore at Riceville High School, where she participates in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children’s athletic events.
