Makayla Stambaugh joins First Security as an Ag/Commercial Lending Specialist.

First Security is pleased to announce the addition of Makayla Stambaugh as an Ag/Commercial Lending Specialist. She will be based out of our Charles City office.

Originally from Michigan, Makayla moved to Iowa to gain a new perspective and experience in agriculture. She attended Fox Valley Technical College, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Agribusiness Science and Technology – Agronomy, as well as technical diplomas in Agronomy and Agri-Business Agronomy. She also earned a certification in Agricultural Accounting.

Prior to joining First Security, Makayla worked in the agronomy industry, where she specialized in wheat testing.

When asked what interested her about the banking industry and joining First Security, Makayla shared, "This position gives me the opportunity to support local farmers and help keep American agriculture strong and thriving."
