Melissa Jones Promoted to Chief Financial Officer

First Security is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Jones to Chief Financial Officer. Melissa joined First Security in early 2019 as an Accounting Assistant. Over the years, she has advanced through several roles, including Assistant Vice President Accounting Manager and Cashier, and most recently Vice President Controller and Cashier.

Brad Miller, President of First Security, reflected on Melissa’s achievement: “I have had the pleasure of working with Melissa for nearly five years. I’ve always been impressed by the commitment, energy, and customer focus she brings to her work. Melissa has truly earned her promotion to Chief Financial Officer.”

When asked about her new role, Melissa shared, “It’s an honor to be recognized by First Security for the growth I’ve achieved during my time here. I’ve always had a passion for community banking and the many ways we can support the communities we call home. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the bank in this new capacity.”
