Retail Lender Lacy Schoenfeldt Achieves Certified Community Lender Credential

First Security is excited to announce that Lacy Schoenfeldt has earned the Certified Community Lender (CCL) certification from the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA). NAMMBA is a leading national trade association dedicated to advancing women and minorities in the real estate finance industry. The CCL certification recognizes excellence in social impact lending and highlights a strong commitment to serving clients’ needs while fostering homeownership and generational wealth in our communities.

To obtain the CCL certification, Schoenfeldt completed eight courses covering key areas such as community collaboration, effective communication, and networking. Less than 5% of mortgage professionals achieve this prestigious designation.

Schoenfeldt started at First Security in 2013 and has worked in the lending area of the bank throughout her career. In 2023, she was promoted to Retail Lender. She has also completed the Iowa Bankers Association Consumer Credit School and has maintained a license to sell credit life and disability insurance.
