Dave Ragsdale Achieves Credit Analyst Certification

First Security is happy to announce that Assistant Vice President/Credit Administration Supervisor Dave Ragsdale has recently completed the Community Bank Credit Analyst Program through the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). With this achievement, he has earned the professional designation of Certified Community Bank Credit Analyst – CCBCA which is accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).

To earn certification, Ragsdale attended the ICBA Credit Analyst Institute and successfully completed the certification examination covering the fundamental concepts of financial analyst skills and their applications. This certification requires 3-days of class followed by an exam.

Ragsdale has been with First Security since January of 2021 as Credit Administration Supervisor and was later promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2022. In this role, he’s responsible for analyzing financial statements and preparing loan presentations to aid in management decisions. Additionally, he schedules the loan review cycle and provides training for other credit analysts and new lenders.
