First Security is proud to contribute to preserving Charles City's history because it will enrich the town and honor the memory of many individuals, such as Jim Smith, who departed from the depot to serve their country.
First Security employee Katie Menken in Dumont says, “What a wonderful way to honor our local veterans. I’m excited to see the finished project because I’ll get to look at the beautiful memorial every day!”
These changes will cost around $95,000. Fundraising includes grants and donations, as well as a $10,000 contribution from the First Security Foundation.
The First Security Foundation contributed $5,000 toward this effort. The Chickasaw Township Fire District is using these funds to purchase Battery-Operated Jaws, Battery-Operated Cutters, and Battery-Operated Rams.

Once the Riceville Clinic is finished, Mitchell County residents will have easier access to healthcare, which, in turn, will benefit the entire county. The First Security Foundation is proud to be a part of the building of the Riceville Clinic.
